Biography

I was born in Lugano. Since 1978 I have lived in the province of Varese. Family, children and professional work led me to art only in 1999. Always a constant thought, it is now an alternative to other interests such as sport, reading, going out with friends or travelling.

In 2002 I attended a course with Prof. Tavino to learn the fundamental techniques of oil painting, which also helped me to dare and play more with colours, seeking to create chromatic harmonies that convey a singular vision of abstractionism.

In a market increasingly dominated by mass-produced decor - often generated today by artificial intelligence - I choose to keep painting by hand, one work at a time. Every painting of mine comes from an irreproducible gesture: whoever brings it home isn't choosing an object endlessly replicated, but something authentic.
